My name is Brian Shaw. I have been working with computers for as long as I can remember. My father worked for IBM for almost 30 years and he was always tinkering with some type of electronic gear around the house. Of course, I became very interested in everything he was up to as most sons would do with their fathers.
The first thing I could remember taking apart was an old Weeble People Airplane. And the best part was I remember putting it back together! I am not even sure how old I was but I know it was a long time ago and I was really young.
After some wise guidance, I was piecing together computers on my own at the age of 11. Good old 8080 processors with 20 Megabyte hard drive and I can’t even remember how little memory. But I was hooked.
